Shipping & delivery

Where we ship

We ship anywhere in Ontario. Each order ships from the nearest of our 4 locations (North York, Mississauga, Scarborough and Ottawa) that has every item in stock, so you get it sooner. Orders outside Ontario are quoted case by case, so contact us before ordering.

Rates

The rate depends on the total shipping weight of the order. Each product page lists its shipping weight and shows a delivery estimate at these rates.

  • Tracked parcel - orders under 30 lb ship by tracked parcel, priced by the order's total weight:
    • Up to 1 kg: $26.99
    • 1 to 2 kg: $27.99
    • 2 to 5 kg: $30.99
    • 5 to 10 kg: $38.99
    • 10 to 14 kg: $42.99
  • Freight delivery - orders of 30 lb and over, such as flooring, doors, board and bagged material, ship by freight: a $19.99 dispatch fee plus $0.75 per pound, calculated at checkout. A 100 lb order costs $94.99.
  • Large orders - over 1,985 lb, checkout won't show an automatic rate. We follow up with a freight quote before the order is processed.

There is no free shipping threshold. The shipping price shown with a product on Google is for one unit of that product ordered on its own.

Timelines

In-stock orders are picked and dispatched from the shipping location within 1 to 2 business days; your shipping email says which location it is. Parcel delivery inside Ontario is typically 2 to 5 business days after dispatch. Freight is scheduled with you once the order is packed.

Free pickup

In-stock products can be collected free from any of our 4 pickup locations:

Choose Pick up at checkout and pick the location that has your items; the address is shown there and in your order confirmation email. Orders are usually ready within one business day; please wait for the ready-for-pickup email before travelling. Some large items (long mouldings, doors, bagged mortar and similar) are pickup only. See pickup locations for directions.

Damage in transit

Inspect your order on arrival. Report any transit damage within 48 hours with photos and we will arrange a replacement.
